I wanted to remove the webcam and the microphone entirely since I don't really use my laptop for zoom calls because I only use my laptop for my college assignment and also for privacy reason.

Removing the microphone & webcam would require disassembly, which the maintenance manual on iFixit could help with. If you're looking for solutions that don't require disassembly, you could look into getting a laptop webcam cover, or simply put a piece of tape over the webcam.

@scarlett91456 theres alot of ways, 1st cover that camera with tape or etc, 2nd im sure thinkpads run windows, so if it is, go to device manager and go down until you see the sound games and video controllers tab, click it and do the high defitcon device, and disable it (sorry if i have bad writings, i gtg)
