11" > 13" LCD Compatability for Testing ONLY

I have a 2011 MBA 13" A1369 here in perfect working condition.....I also have 2x 2011 A1370 11" that need repair but before I waste time fixing them I need to know if their LCD's are still good..... Can I connect the 11" LCD to the 13" to test? Checking this page it seems that it is OK to do so but their info isn't clear. I need 100% confirmation as I do not want more busted units laying around : We are not worried to test the WiFi or Bluetooth, ONLY to see if the LCD are OK.

@livfe no reason why you can't do that. The LCD connector as well as the connections are identical between the A1369 and the A1370.

Thanks for the confirmation, I was sure it was possible as I think I did this before, but just to be 100% certain before I go ahead. :)

@oldturkey03 One is actually a 2010 Model and has a silver connector for the LCD, other are gold..... best no to try,......

@livfe if those boards are an 820-3023 and the other a 820-3024 then you are okay. The color of the connector really should not matter.

@oldturkey03 2010 - 820-2855 or 2010 - 820-2796 likely..... All I can see on the board is C02144501QUDK9LAY 1.6 GHz HY 2 GB

@oldturkey03 But, the A1369 A1370 2011 LCD cannot work with 2013-2017 models unless we swap the cables over correct?
