Where do I plug in the strip end plugs?

I have an led strip light with end connectors but don't know what I need to plug it in.

the copper terminals at the end can be wired directly to your power if you can't find the connector. If they are single color LEDs, you only wire + and -. Most have an indicator as to which is which, but they are diodes, so if you wire it backwards, it just won't work. If the LEDs are color, the other 2 terminals operate those colors. Typically, there is one 12V input and 3 gnd (-) terminals for red, green, blue. All gnd = yields white. search for LED strip connector if you don't want to solder wires to the copper.

That's brilliant, thanks very much, just what I was looking for.

Each vendor has a custom connector system which slides onto the cut end with the needed cord or terminal unit to wire into your power either directly or via a transformer. Review the products documentation.

Thanks Dan, any idea where I would find the manufacturer info on the LED strip? Are they all 12V do you know? Each end has a 4 pin connector. I assume 2 of them are power, positive and negative, but what do the other 2 do? I would post a pic but I've misplaced the strip!!

@tamb57491 - Where did you buy it? Can you find the exact product online. That's where I would start.

I can't tell you more as there are too many venders and there is no true standard.

Thanks Dan, someone else replied and told me about the pins and what they do. Two of them are 12V +and-. So I've yet to try it out ( once I find where I left them!).
