Hazard lights turn on and off randomly

First thing to do is try to pin down where the problem is coming from. Since the only part you can really get to is the switch itself, I'd try disconnecting the switch to see if the problem goes away. You can also follow the service manual test procedure for the switch to see if it's working correctly.
