T1 on first-generation Toniebox heavily burned

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to repair my Toniebox and I’m having trouble identifying the component labeled T1 on the PCB. The part is completely burned, so unfortunately there is no readable marking left (I’ve attached close-up photos of the component as well as a wider view of the board, showing the location where T1 sits - at the intersection of the two red arrows).

T1 has three pins, so it might be some kind of transistor, but I haven’t been able to determine what it actually is.

To investigate further, I borrowed another Toniebox to compare. On that unit, T1 is marked with "720", but it seems to be a newer hardware revision with a different PCB layout — so I’m not sure whether the component is the same.

My faulty Toniebox is most likely from the first generation.

And just to give you an idea of how dead it is: it doesn’t show the slightest sign of life — not even when plugged into a power supply. It’s basically in full “sleeping beauty” mode…

If anyone has information about this component, or could check on their own device, I would be extremely grateful for any help.

Thanks in advance and many greetings!
