i dropped my phone from a height of about 3 feet and my screen is now completely white. i really dont want to take my phone apart and was wondering if anyone has any alternative ways to fix it?

Ellie, the only way to inspect for damage is by opening it up. It is possible that your connector is broken, your cable came off, or parts on the logic board broke. The only thing your can try without opening it, would be a reset or a restore. To reset your phone hold the sleep/wake button and the home button at the same time. Hold them until the screen goes black. Sometime you have to hold them even after the red power off slider appears. If it does, just keep holding. Once the white Apple appears, let go of the buttons, your phone is resetting. Hope this helps, good luck.

It is also possible that you damaged the LCD in the fall. You may need a new LCD.
