Neato Botvac D7 Connected Repair

Created in March of 2018, the Neato Botvac cleaning robots were formed in order to serve as cleaning assistance within the household, which unfortunately discontinued in September of 2018. The intended user group of this product are households that wanted automated devices to clean their home. This vacuum was clearly a direct competitor of the Roomba Vacuum brand, as it has a docking station to charge from, a side brush, a side roller, and a housing unit within that contains a filter. Neato Botvac primarily stationed and sold their products within the United States and is renowned as a very useful item to have in one's household. Developed by Neato Robotics, the device can connect to wifi, control the device through the phone, and check its status all within the app they provide. The robot is composed of many parts which includes a filter, side brush, front roller, wheels, electronic components, and on top of all that a screen to display its status plus a button to manually turn the robot on.

The average price for one robot comes out to $169.99 as of April 3rd, 2023, and although the device did not make news headlines, it is still well-regarded as useful and reliable to the average household residents. The robot has received many reviews online throughout its history on the market, especially on popular websites like Amazon, and is generally well-received by many individuals throughout the world. There aren’t many instances of unreliable parts, but due to its longevity it is recommended to replace certain parts every few months to make sure the robot runs properly.

The Neato BOTVAC CONNECTED is semicircular in shape with a raised, round protrusion on the top. There is a small screen to the right of this protrusion with conductive buttons. The vacuum has two buttons near the front of the device, one with a grid of nine squares and another with a house icon. There is one roller and one brush on the bottom of the device.

The neato botvac can be distinguished from the other neato botvac by the black color with a gray circle displaying the word “neato” on it, with the two buttons on the bottom, one has a house symbol on it, the other has a grid on it.
