Turn off power and unplug the vacuum, then turn the vacuum to look at the hose.

Turn the red dial counterclockwise and pull up on the wand to remove.

Press in the red button where the wand attaches to the hose and pull apart.

Remove the main canister by pressing the red release button and pulling up and away.

Grip the base of the hose so your thumb reaches around to press the red tab shown.

Push the red tab at towards the hose while pulling the hose upwards.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

I used the hose and attachments on my ball animal + up13 and after removal of attachment and stowing the hose to the handle assy. , I can not get the vacumm to stop sucking from the top of the handle? I’ve attempted reading the owners manual (which is not user friendly) and also watched Youtube demonstrations with no luck. This has been two days of struggling with no success???
The suction is diverted to the hose when the machine is upright. Stand behind the machine, pull the handle towards you and the transfer valve automatically diverts the suction to the brush head. Put it back into the upright position and suction automatically diverts to the rear hose.
can anyone show me a picture of the transfer valve? I think it is not going into position when I try to use the wand.
it looks like the wand has a round plastic device in middle is this correct? i have taken the wand out of the hose and the hose has suction but when all goes back together and turn on the hand held wand device has no suction
Awesome! Worked like a charm. I had sucked up one of the cat's toys. I was able to remove the little toy and the hose works again.
