How to Exit ZTE Max XL Field Test Mode

    • Field Test Mode (FTM) can be useful if you perform tests on signal strength, but for most users it prevents some applications to run correctly.

    • The phone screen will display FTM when in the mode.

    • Hold down the power button for 10 seconds to turn off the phone.

    • Press the power button until your phone responds to power on the phone.

    • To assure your phone does not stay in FTM, DO NOT press the lower volume button. Pressing of the lower volume button is the reason your phone enters FTM.

    • If the phone is still in FTM after the reboot, make sure the lower volume button is not stuck.
