Toastmaster W252C Disassembly

Remove the 10 mm flathead screw from the top half of the device.

Use a spudger to pry the top metal casing away from the burner and fully open it.

Remove the 10 mm flathead screw attaching the metal plate to the cooking surface.

Separate the metal plate from the cooking surface.

Flip the waffle maker over and remove the 10 mm flathead screw from the bottom surface.

Use your hands to pull the heat settings knob away from the front of the bottom half.

Remove the bottom cooking surface from the metal shell.

Remove the 10 mm flathead screw from the inside of the bottom half.

Separate the metal plate from the cooking surface.

Unscrew the 22.5 mm flathead screw and remove the switch from the bottom cooking surface.

You can now separate all the components from the bottom half of the waffle maker.

Remove the plastic clips holding the resistor by simply maneuvering them so that they fall out of the hinge.
