Use the flat end of a spudger to lever the frame away from the display assembly until you can grab it with your hand.

Lift near the retaining tabs marked by red rectangles in the first picture.

Remove the frame from the display assembly.

While removing the frame there may be sticky residue that will generate some resistance to the detachment of the top half of the frame.
