Hi,
i'm Wilson, i got a MacBook with core 2 duo 2gh/z 2gb memory. Well, my optical super drive do not want to read and burn any cd/dvd/dvd dl. Can i got some instruction from you to repair it?

Hi, It sounds like a bad drive. Did you by it new? If so and its under warranty I would take it to Apple and let them fix it for free. It not here is the guide for replacing the drive. Ralph

Remove the optical drive from the MacBook, open it and gently clean the laser lens with isopropyl alcohol and a Qtip. Dust off the drive with compressed air, reinstall and test. If that doesn't restore the burning functionality, replace the drive.

Hi,
firtsly thanks for helping me, i just bougth it from a friend and i dont believe that one is under warranty, then i can't send it to apple. Well i just wanna buy an aother one using my credit card, the problem is because i'm in Haiti working to help poeple, ebay, amazon dont want ship it to me. So i'm trying to find a way to repair it.

Hi, By using the guide I reference you can remove the drive and try the repair lemerise mentions. Then reassemble and see if it works. Ralph
