Hi,
The camera of my imac suddenly stopped working.
I tried everything, repair permissions, SMC reset. Wiped the entire disk and reinstalled mountain Lion. Also in Safe mode no working camera
I even replaced the camera module, no succes.
The Camera is also not shown in the imac specfications, usb section!
please help me out!

If it's not software, and it's not camera that leaves a cabling/connector issue. Go over your connection to the camera and anywhere else you disconnected cables (often ribbon cables are not inserted correct way up, or fully, or have their cam locks opened/locked properly) Examine the logic board connection - look for burned components.
As a work around it would be possible to mount an external USB camera... just ensure the one you choose has Mac OS X drivers.
