The rubber gasket that pulls the little gondolas is broken on this toy. I have tried super glue...duck tape...even hot glue and none will repair. Is there anyway to rejoin 2 pieces of rubber?

Have you tried with Sugru? Maybe, and I say maybe it may do the trick.
I dunno if there's a way to open the toy and replace the rubber string altogether, but that'll be the most effective kind of repair too.
