Switches on the mainboard

On the Logic board are 5 metal switches with spring. one is broken in my MBP, can that ebe the reason it will not start anymore?

Hey,

Was looking how to upload the picture but done now :)

in the Dutch version from this site that option is not available Think a small problem!

But in the english version i can edit my messsage :) and upload the picture

Sven, any chance you can post an image of the damage with your question? Use this guide Adding images to an existing question to add images. By doing that, we can see what you see.....

The only thing with springs I can think of are the screws holding down the cooling pipe to the GPU and CPU. Damage to the screws themselves should not cause an issue. However if something hit it hard enough to damage on of those there is a good chance the board itself could be damaged in some way. As Machead3 suggests a few pictures would help.

Hmm, I am guessing those are probably just grounds. Is one snapped off of the board? If so it could have severed a copper trace that is causing an issue. Does the charger light turn green, orange or stay dark when it is plugged in? If it is orange try using the power pads to see if it turns on. There is a thread here you can use to find them, if it is the same model.

Where are the power pads on this early 2013 MacBook Pro Model?
