РАЗРЕШЕННЫЙ: The model number is erased - MacBook Core 2 Duo

The model number is erased

I bought it in July 2007 in the NY Apple Store, I assume it is mid 2007 but not sure, can not read the model on the bottom of the computer because it has erased, I want to replace the fan, but want to be sure I am getting the right one.

Is there another way to make sure I am ordering the right fan, or in case I find out it is not can I return it and exchange it for the right one?

there are many ways to find that information

you can use the serial number of your mac (find it in "about this mac or on a sticker in the battery compartment - put the serial number in the green serch field on appleserialnumberinfo.com and you get all the informations you "never" wanted to know about your mac ;-)

just needed the serial number, and found out that mine was effectively mid 2007.
