hey! I was wondering if any one could help me getting the datasheet for the microphone in the ipad mini... it's for a school project, i really have problems finding it.

Sadly Apple doesn't offer spec sheets on the components it uses.
If you can discover who makes it the supplier maybe able to supply the data sheet. If its a custom part they may have signed a NDA with Apple which would prohibit them from releasing it.
I too would love to see Apple publish the microphones audio response and sensitivity cone.
