I bought a 4th gen iPod from a seller on eBay. It worked fine for a few weeks, but now the screen keeps locking up.
I have tried resetting it. Sometimes I have to reset it 4-5 times before it works, then a few minutes later, it freezes again.
The voice activation still works, and whatever was playing will keep playing, but I don't know why the screen locks up.
Help please

That's a toughie, any idea if the ipod has had any repairs done before?
One thing to try is to force close any apps running in the background by double clicking the home button which will show any apps running in the background along the bottom of the screen. Touch and hold one of these app icons until they start to wiggle then hit the x in the top corner and this will close the app. Try his first and let us now what happens,

This sounds like a software issue , I would recommend backing up anything you wish to keep and restore and update the IPod and see if this solves the issue.
