Hi everyone,
I replaced the screen and mid frame on an xperia z3 compact the other day and now it seems to be overheating mainly on the lower part of the screen. Any ideas why? I don't think its the screen because I have used a few of these screens from same supplier and they have all been fine.
Any advice would be much appreciated :)

Try disassembling it and reassembling it again, there may have been something that wasn't connected or seated properly, or something is touching something it shouldn't be. :-)

If the phone have been out of use for a while, it can be as easy as Andoid or Sony upgrade that make the phone warm. I experienced this with a z3.
