Roberts right there are 25 teeth on the middle gear and 31 slots for it in the outer gear the arrows will change relative position when it runs. How it starts out shouldn't matter. All you need to be concerned about is that the arrows are on the same side

The triangles on the pump are not for alignment there to show which side is up. In other words make sure the triangles are all on the same side and you set. Hope this helps
