Depends on the shop and there rates it can take from 4-6 hours depending on the condition of the car and amount of rust on bolts . the timing chain itself will vary in price depending which manufacturer you get 100-300 dollars for the chain . A cheap shop can do it for 250 and a dealer will run into 500-600 for the labor so your price will vary anywhere from 350 to 900 dollars.
