Weird keyb.oard issue with my Alienware M14X

I am experiencing the strangest of prob.lems with my MX14 keypadb. So as you might have already realized, there are full stops at the wrong placeb. This is what happens when i press the b. b.utton and the fullstopb. b.utton

When i press the B b.utton the letter b. is followed b.y a full stop and when i press the period key it is followed b.y a b.

This silly thing is tearing my head, any help would b.e appreciated

Thank you so much for taking time out to helpb. I tried it b.ut it didnt work b.ecause filter option was already turned offb. Thank you very much thoughb.

Can you plug in a USB keyboard and see if you have the same problem when you use it?

Check to see if you have the Turn on Filter Keys enabled.

Go to Start > Control Panel > Ease of Access > Change How your Keyboard Works > Un checkTurn on filter Keys
