My troubleshoot not working on laptop

Hi, Have you connected the charger? Do you get any indication from the laptop when you do? Are there any lights - which ones? When you press the power button what happens next, any sounds - if beeping is there a pattern, lights - if any blinking is there a pattern, can you hear / feel the fan running? The more you can tell us the more we can help.
