2 Isopropyl alcohol to remove small shards of glass and glue
Hi all,
So I successfully separated the broken glass of my i6P from the digitizer. It all went well, I did a good job in separating LCD and glass. But because the glass was severely shattered, there were still some very small shards of glass (as well as glue) on the screen.
Following some videos, I applied isopropyl alcohol with cotton balls to make it easier to clean it. I guess I put a bit too much and maybe alcohol went sideways and when I turn it on I see it is 'wet'... Look at the image here:
and it keeps changing shape, like these:
So, I think it is fixable, right?
Forgive the vertical lines as they are because I didn't secure the ribbon cables tightly... Before putting alcohol, the screen was flawless!
How can I dry it?

Thanks for your reply, Dan. But, I have done this fix for previous iPhones successfully, just glass replacement. Also, there are videos on YouTube.
As you can see when I blow air to LCD and/or let it lie down in different directions, that wetness moves quite a bit... And the areas that were 'bad' become almost 'intact' when that liquid or whatever is inside moves...
No chance?

Sadly, no, the alcohol has creeped under the digitizer and LCD making a mess. Yes, one can replace the cover glass but you really need the proper equipment to do it right otherwise you get air bubbles in the sandwich.
