Why is my laptop overheating?
My laptop is getting really hot . I restart it, but within five minutes it is hot again. Is there a way to fix this?

If your laptop is overheating you may want to check if there is debris that need to be cleaned and is blocking the fan vent causing your laptop to overheat. You may also want to view the Troubleshooting Page for more information.

I had the exact same issue and fixed it with cleaning, replacing thermal paste, and surprisingly relubricating the fan with some machine oil i found.
