This phone was picked up from the side of the road. It has a badly cracked screen, and is not responsive to touch. The power and menu buttons both work, not sure about the volume buttons. The soft buttons on either side of the menu button do not work. I would like to replace the display assembly, but I do not know how. It does charge, and displays the charging screen.

Hi,
The Samsung galaxy core prime has a separated display, meaning the glass/digitiser isn't bonded to the LCD, this makes it an easy replacement.
There are plenty of guides and videos on YouTube for this model of phone, and purchasing new glass/digitiser is easy, as most of them come with double sided adhesive pre bonded.
