My son has dropped the phone a couple of times so far and this time, the screen has went completely black. When I tried taking the battery out and putting it back in, it will vibrate and make the sound that the battery needs to charge since it was nearly dead. Can someone please help me with this? I don't want to buy a new phone. Thank you.

oukenzythen sounds like you have a broken display. Make sure that your battery is charged and see if that makes a difference (most likely not). Use this guide to replace the dispaly.

It may be the screen and it should be replaced. Because these phones break faster than others because they are not as good at drops without a case or something.
