replace driver side window

To replace the window you need to take out the inner door panel.

First you will need a trim removal tool set, one which you could buy at any autozone for under $20.

Then youll need to remove the window control, whether it is manual or electronic, you need to remove the clips holding it into the door panels. With manual windows, the clips need to be pulled out with a special removal tool ($10). Then remove thr panel from its anchors by slowly pulling out on the sides of the panel going all the way around the edges of the panel itself.

Now remove the plastic lining under the panel held on to the metal of the door by adhesive. A lot pull it off along the edges as not to destroy it. You'll reuse it later.

The inside is concealed by an interior metal panel and about 15 bolts.
