Leaks water when brewing ground coffee with a My K-Cup filter.
I own a Keurig Elite. My parents have a Keurig Special, and both have this problem. When I use the My K-Cup filter to add my own ground coffee and brew it, after it starts pouring out coffee, the machine starts leaking water at the same time, so typically the mug beneath the machine is filled partly with coffee and partly with hot water, so it gets very watered down. I think this comes from a design flaw, but it would be great if there is a way to fix this problem so that the My K-Cup filter will work as it is supposed to.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Click this link. It will take you to ebay and a new part that fixes My K-Cup leaks and other reusable K-Cups like Ekobrew Solofill Cafe Cup and EZ Cup. It's only $2.79 and guaranteed by money back and return postage paid.

If you use Cafe Cup brand cups, there is a removable fitment in the lid that has the needle opening in it (half sphere perforated basket below it). If the fitment is missing causes leaking and there is no way to fix it except replace the fitment or entire cup if lost like mine was. For other cups I found a washer behind the needle seal did the trick.

Hi suzshark
Yes, costs and prices to sell and ship the "stop k-cup leaks" part has gone up a lot since January 2015 when the retail price was $2.79. But hopefully the fix will work for you so your results will be well worth the price. And if you don't get good results, you can return the part for a full refund including return postage.
