Blank screen on youtube

Have you tried exiting the app and re-loading it? Double click on home button and swipe up on youtube app. if that fails try a reboot on your ipad by holding the power and home buttons at the same time until you see an apple logo then let go

So there's not any details of what you've done so far to fix this and I know how this is going to sound, but sincerely have you tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling it? And I'm a bit confused about how you're having a blank screen in youtube and its still visible? If what I mentioned doesn't fix this can you explain this for us. If you're loading up youtube from having just turned on the iPad, is the screen white and are you pressing on the screen blindly and noticing that you're "watching" a video by the sound working?
