I am from India and my model number is SM-N910G. Recently my phone getting switched off abruptly. Upon trying different options I came across the conclusion as only when sim card is inserted the phone will switch off and turn on only when charger connected. Only sim slot change could help me?

Sagar Bhoir could be your Sim card reader as well as a bad Sim card. Get a new Sim card first and see if that makes a difference.

Thank you for the solution, I tried new sim card but problem did not solved. I missed to add this in my description. One of the repair person said that it's might be due to faulty power supply to sim slot and hence motherboard needs to be changed. I was not completely satisfied with his resolution though
