Hard drive causing red dot

When I put in my hard drive it causes the red dot in the middle. When I remove the hard drive it boots up with No problem. No other lights blink and the psu has a green light on it when powered on. Any suggestions?

@spellman1989at this point I would go ahead and replace the HDD. See what you get with a new drive. Xbox 360 S Hard Drive Replacement
