iPad mini 2 screen issue

I believe your issue is a broken LCD. If you installed it properly and it looks as described in your pictures, then it most likely was damaged when shipping to you or you accidentally were too aggressive with it. If you installed it poorly or incorrectly, it would most likely have white lines going through it, but since the screen has a black spot along with half of the screen being out, it is a sign of it being damaged. If you contact the seller you purchased it from they should exchange it for a new one, if you were not the one to break it, of course. Also, purchase LCDs and screens from reputable sellers like iFixit or Fixez.
