Replacement screen not working

I replaced my screen (the whole thing) by following a YouTube video.

I did it exactly but when I turn it on the computer boots but the screen is blank. I removed the new screen and replaced it (exactly as before) the old (cracked) screen worked. I took it off and replaced it the new screen (exactly the same) - no screen - blank.

Any suggestions? Thanks

I'm with Aaron here you likely got either the wrong one or a bad one.

Make sure its Apple P/N 661-6529
