Why is my TV giving out sound but no picture
I have sound on my TV but when I do get a picture on the TV at some point of time the picture goes out but still have sound

once the picture is dark, shine a flashlight at an angle against the screen and see if you can still make out a picture. If so it is your backlight that turns off. If not then it is possible that you have either a bad main board or bad power board. Take some good pictures of all of the boards and post those with your question. That way we can see what you see. Adding images to an existing question
Also , let us know the exact model of your TV.
