Missing sounds/frequencies when listening to audio on speakers.

I used to have a Gen 2 and on it this didn't happen. Now with my Gen 3 there's a problem.

When I listen to certain songs, certain sounds/instruments can't be heard through the speaker, which one would otherwise hear clearly. This happens on any app, I've tried Youtube, Poweramp and Google Music. When I plug in my headhones however, I can hear the missing sounds/frequencies just fine.  This doesn't have anything to do with Mono/Stereo issues, because the missing sound is normally heard on both sides. Equalizer settings don't seem to have an effect.

Now sometimes, this is really bad. For example, in this song, and most of the album it's on, I can't hear the melody guitar on speaker, but I can hear the rhythm/chord guitar. For example: ++https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wn35zg...

In that song you can hear a guitar doing chords, and 10 seconds in you can hear another guitar doing different melodies. I can hear the melody guitar just fine at the start on my phone, but then at 0:18 it just completely disappears. I put my ear all the way up to it and can't hear it, even though it's quite easy to hear. I hate this because it's a main melody of the song, I should be able to hear it. 

My android version is 6.0, and it's not rooted or anything. The phone's very new.

Try starting the phone in safe mode and listen to the audio to see if it is better etc.

This is to determine the possibility that a downloaded app is the cause of the problem.

If the audio is now OK then the trick is to find the downloaded app that is the cause. You need to uninstall each downloaded app, one by one, and test the audio, using the phone in the normal mode, between each uninstall. When it is OK then the last downloaded app that was uninstalled is the culprit.

If the audio is still faulty, backup the phone using the phone's backup feature and then factory restore the phone to its' default factory condition using the phone's factory restore feature.

Be aware that a factory restore will erase all you data and downloaded apps. it will restore the phone to its’ factory default condition. That is why it is important to perform a backup first.

When the factory reset has been completed, test the audio from the speakers.

If it is still faulty you have a hardware problem.

As it is a new phone, consult the manufacturer’s warranty statement that came with the phone as to what to do to make a claim for a manufacturer’s warranty repair or replacement. If possible it may be advisable to test another Moto G 3rd gen phone to check if the audio is OK or if it is an inherent problem with the design or components in the phone before accepting a replacement.

If the audio is OK when in the default condition, with the backup you made earlier, restore the phone using the phone’s restore feature to restore the phone back to what is was.

When it has been restored, check the audio.

If it is still OK then the reset has resolved the problem
