I have an A1261 macbook pro that needs a new bezel. I need to know weather or not all macbook pro parts for this series are the same. i.e. an A1212 bezel that would work on my A1261. I feel like this is an obvious answer of yes but I just need some clarification before I blindly order parts.

We have not tested the compatibility on the MacBook Pro 17" display bezels, but I would think that they are cross-compatible because all the MBP 17" take the same LCD.

I have used an A1151 bezel on an A1229.
The difference was the camera; exchange it
It worked

I'm about to embark on the same a1151 bezel/back case replacement onto my a1229. @lunchbx2 did you have to buy a1151 iSight camera / parts also? please let me know which ones, if thats the case. thanks!
