Keyboard does work after replacing MagSafe port

I fixed one problem to create several others. I replaced the MagSafe port but now my keyboard doesn’t work, the keys aren’t back lit and my computer won’t start up on the battery even though my battery has a full charge. My biggest concert is the keyboard!
