Why do you graphics not work properly
I had a friend replace the screen but that didn’t work. Is there something else I can do?

There can be a few reasons why it’s not working. Try to narrow down the parts if possible. Hook up the old screen and see what it does. If it turns on and works just fine, you may have an issue with the replacement parts. If it doesn’t work with the old screen, it could be something else like a damaged component.

Thanks Jesse, the old part is no longer available, but it does the same thing with the new screen as with the old. I’ve never fixed anything but am willing to if I have an idea of how to go about it
You may want to seek out help from a repair shop. Depending on where you source parts for devices, they can actually cause damage to the board. If you look for cellphone repair shops in your area, you might be able to get it fixed the same day. Don't let this discourage you. From a repair shop perspective, I think it's cool that you at least attempted fixing your own electronics. Good luck!
