What does error code (10) in itunes mean?

I connected my iPhone to iTunes and tried to update iOS from 12.4.1 to the latest 13 and it froze and gave me error code (10). Tried multiple times on different computers, one of which was running catalina and all had the latest itunes, but it always came up with error code (10). All it says on apple’s website is that (10) indicates a hardware issue. I find this hard to believe as my phone was working perfectly fine before I attempted the update. Does anyone know what error code (10) in iTunes means when trying to update iOS?
