I want to install a new instrument cluster in my 2006 Ford F-150 XLT. Does this new part need to be programmed for my truck?

Yes, it will need to be programmed with the VIN and the odometer reading

Where do I find the instructions to do that?

I believe it has to be done through the dealer, or if you're ordering a new or reman one, vendors can often program it before sending it.
