My washing machine doesnt work, has a humming sound when I start a washing cycle. But it does work on Rinse and spin cycle. The machine fills water too during spin and rinse cycle. Anyone knows what’s going on? I’m debating on whether to repair or replace. The machine is out of warranty.

If your washer is a Samsung B1445A then here’s the start of the troubleshooting section of the service manual.
Go to Item # 4 to view the possible causes of the problem. The following pages have circuit details etc which may help.
Here’s how to get to the Driving Compartment test mode which may also give some clues as to what is happening.
Hopefully a start.
