I cannot delete a name or phone number from the menu on cordless phone
I have gone to Edit and cleared by it does not delete the name or the phone number. This is a Panasonic Cordless Phone

Here’s an image from the user guide, that shows how to erase entries from the phonebook in the phone.

Select the name/number to be deleted from the phone book. Select Menu, then press the DOWN arrow. “Erase” shows on the screen, select and follow the prompts.
