Would a screen replacement solve my problem?

Hi everyone. I have my tablet for over four to five years and made a HUGE mistake by rushing down a concrete stair case (I was in a rush to my destination). So unfortunately, the tablet also followed suit. Meaning that it slipped from my hand and ended at the bottom of the steps before me. Lolol. So obviously the screen is cracked up but luckily the screen protector is keeping the pieces together. Three months post-fall I was able to use the tablet with no issues. But.. now I am unable to see anything on the screen.

I know the replacement of the screen is longgg over due but given the new developments of the screen not displaying any signs of health would a replacement screen revive my best friend?

I changed the screen and the tablet is fully functional.

PS. I bought my screen on this website.

Hi @zee003,

Replacing the screens should resolve the problem.

Here’s a video that shows how to replace the screens in your tablet.

Here’s a link to the ifixit Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 guides, which includes a screen replacement guide which has not yet been fully completed, but it may also be of some help.

Replacement screens are available online. Just search for Galaxy Tab3 10.1 LCD display + digitizer screen replacement to get results for suppliers that suit you best.
