Hi,

Does the phone have a Google Account and if so do you know the user ID and password for the account?

If so, you may be able to unlock it remotely

If the phone has a Samsung account then this may also be possible if the remote unlock setting has already been enabled in the phone.

If either of the above aren’t an option then you may have to hard reset the phone and start it bypassing the account protection feature which is there in the event of the phone being stolen and your personal data being exploited because to access the phone your data will be erased.

If there is no Google account on the phone then a hard reset will work but it will erase all your personal data and downloaded apps in the process. The phone will be like when you first got it.
