Hi,
The laptop may be stuck in sleep mode, hence the blinking power light
Try holding the power button operated >4 seconds to shut the laptop down.
When it has stopped blinking, connect the charger to the laptop and then try turning the laptop on and check .

I had the exact problem on 2-14 and I fixed it by reseanting the ram
