The iphone is of my son. He try to restore the phone. It gave a itunes with cable . and them it try to restore again. He made a mistake and them iphone is trying to restart , logo apple apears and them comes a circle try to restarting. The iphone never restart totally. How we can fix that. The iphone is jailbreak, he buy from a friend. please any sugestions?

Ivonne Rodriguez, I would try to place the phone in DFU first and have iTunes recognize it as a phone that needs to be restored. DFU can be a little tricky to get into and you may have to try a few times. Thanks , very much , i try many times and finally its done. but now the phone and itunes has a message that said i need to register the iphone and didnt reconize the sim card. what i need to do. I buy that iphone and was unlocked. thanks and had good day.
it sounds like the phone was "jailbroken/unlocked" not unlocked by the phone provider.. this is more likely true if you bought the phone not from a dealer. You could go back to where you bought it and ask for them to solve problem for you or if you want to do a jailbreak/unlock we need to know what ios your phone is on. click on the "settings" app, go to "general", choose "about", then see what is written next to " version". then scroll to the bottom and tell us what the modem firmware is.

Just use the current version of Redsn0w on this iPhone. It will do everthing that is necessary to get this iPhone working again. It will walk you through the DFU Mode Steps, and it will activate the iPhone so you can use it. Also there is a program called Sn0wbreeze that can do the same. Read about the current version and use one of them to get your iPhone working again. These are free and all advice here and on the Web is free.

pollytinop i try to reach setting but phone its stuck in the activation thing ...i had the box and had the imei # and another #...i buy the phone from a guy , the phone was ATT and unlocked for use with Tmobile. Thanks for everything. you think i can use the Redsnow program ?
Had the same problem after I updated the baseband. Once you update the baseband you cannot update it again in iTunes...
BTW, ireb does not work for 3GS...says so right on the link ;-)

no way are you allowed to offer to "unbrick" someone's phone for money on here! Ivonne..advice given here is free, we will try to fix it. Please don't send your phone or money to someone who has a reputation of 1! None of us have heard of him/can vouch for him.

iPhone Guru, you are right. It says so on that particular link. But did you check further? I recommended that link so that the OP has a chance to look at the layout and find the download link. check on the new version of iReb, go here http://modmyi.com/forums/3g-s-downgradin... and read "get iREB run it for 3GS TWICE this should kick it out of DFU but it might only be for a second then it goes back to REAL DFU then don't do shift restore just do a normal restore (no shift) incase something was wrong with ur ipsw" and I mentioned iRecover as well.....:-) thanks for pointing it out. I do appreciate it. :-)
1) sorry about the spam earlier, I don't post to a lot of these types of things and am just trying to put food on the table like everybody else. ;-)
2) I understand that there are a lot of people that are untrustworthy online and the need to build credibility but as stated earlier, this is my first post so there's not much I can do to prove I am honest and someone of integrity.
3) in my opinion, everytime you give something away for free be it knowledge, service or product you diminish it's value. This is why I always donate large sums of money to the dev team every year for cracking the iOS so that they have a reason to distribute jailbreaks and tools like pwnage that everyone "thinks" are free.
I hope you are able to fix your phone because an iPhone is an expensive paperweight. Or, you could pay someone a nominal fee to educate you and fix it...

Ivonne Rodriguez have you tried a program like iReb or iRevover to kick the iPhone out of the loop? If not, give it a try...

i will try it. I try to restore it with itunes but after 30 minutes of downloading the iphone comes again to try to reboot.
