Red Power Light Blinking and won’t turn on

UN60J620DAF

Hello I did a few suggestions that were in the comments and I purchased a new power supply put that in today and my problem still consists, the light is still blinking and won’t turn on and as a matter fact once in a while I see a light white strip of light on the top of the TV trying to come on and the rest is black but that’s all I get, any suggestions would be helpful before I have to unfortunately maybe throw it away. Thank you in advance, JM

@jasminmattern66 make sure that you verify that your TV is a UN60FH6003FXZA model. Unplug the main board from the power board and see if your TV’s backlight stays on. If so than you are almost at a point where you can call the issue being related to the main board and not the power board. Once we know the exact model we can probably give you something more concrete. This “light white strip of light on the top of the TV trying to come on is a bit odd ond we may have to come back to it.

Hello and thank you for getting back to me I don’t know where this model number came from but that is incorrect, mine is the UN60J620DAF Model, I have unplugged the main board from the power board and the lights in the back or the display lights whatever you call it is still flashing.

@jasminmattern66 Okay so you have flashing backlights. That could be the power supply board or the backlight strips. See if you can find an inexpensive replacement board for your TV. We'll try and help you find one. Unless of course you want to get a multimeter and measure a few things. Just don't touch anything since that could be a shocking experience.

Thank you so much, I did replace the power supply and it’s still not working

@jasminmattern66 let's clarify this. Which light is blinking? Also, if you can post some good pictures of the boards in your TV with your QUESTION. That way we can see what you see. Adding images to an existing question
