Where is the ice room temperature sensor located

I have a Samsung model RF28HMEDBSR/AA and the ice maker only dumps ice when the test button is pushed. I read the issue could be a bad ice room temperature sensor. Where is the sensor located. I have not found it. Thanks..

Hi @jscottdmc ,

Don’t know but here’s the ice room sensor troubleshooting flowchart from the service manual, which shows how to test if it is OK or not.

If it is faulty here’s the sensor parts location for the refrigerator which may help. Type sensor in the Find Part By Name search box on the page to find the location for all the sensors
