The replacement battery for my Dyson v7 seems to be stuck in a non-working state with a green LED on. The battery is a bit warm. This has been going on for the last several hours.
I’ve removed the battery from the vacuum and it remains in this state. It had been working for the last few days, since installation.
Is there any way to get the battery working again?

Hi
at the moment I think your best bet it to keep it plugged into the vacuum and wait for it to discharge
once it has discharged leave it on charge attached to the vacuum until full and see if the behaviour continues
if the issue persists leave me a comment on my answer and we can further diagnose it
